You know yourself and your characters intimately. It can be difficult or impossible to get enough distance to know if what you and they are experiencing internally is coming across to the reader.
Coaches are skilled in asking clients questions to help understand exactly what they are feeling and grappling with internally.
I treat you or your characters like clients. I listen non-judgmentally and ask clarifying questions.
I help you (memoir) or “them” (fiction), through your edits, fully express their truth.

Initial 20 minute consultation: free
Review of your manuscript, and provision of minimum 3 pages of general feedback about the clarity of the emotional message overall: $499 to $750 depending on length.
If I feel I can help you and you are interested in going forward from there, a proposal follows that will outline the scope of the work and fees.
